Who doesn’t love Hugh Jackman? Great dad, husband and all around guy from watching and listening to him on the talk shoes. No trash to read on this guy which is nice for a change. He recently went for a dip on Bondi Beach in Australia and a photographer got a shot of his of his hot abs. And, it doesn’t even look like he’s sucking his stomach in : ) All I can say is that “a picture is worth a thousand words!” : )
His new movie, Australia, comes out on November 26. Australia also stars Nicole Kidman.
Way too funny, guess he likes pineapple.
After revealing that he is moving out
of Anna Nicole Smith’s house and filming
a reality show, Larry Birkhead
has decided to put his 2-year-old daughter Dannielynn
’s old baby clothes and toys up for auction on eBay
. The proceeds will go to Camp Kindle, a charity that cares for children affected by HIV or AIDS.
The items include designer dresses, pajamas, swimsuits, as well as outfits the little girl wore for photoshoots. Larry says he chose Camp Kindle because Anna Nicole filmed an episode of her reality show there,“It was the first time I really saw Anna Nicole out of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood,” Birkhead writes on his Web site. “She stayed for over a week and helped the kids and formed relationships with many of them. Hopefully, the money donated from these items can help these children in need by funding their trips to camp.”

I digress from the beach blog …. this is just too cute and too funny not to post : )
Sara at Going Crafty
has the cutest blog and the cutest “FREE” pattern for a child’s turkey hat. What’s more retro than a Thanksgiving hat? We’ve been celebrating Thanksgiving for years and years and years; and wearing hats since the dawn of time …. am I right here? At any rate, this is just too cute not to pass along : )
The pattern is sized for a 12 month old. You can size it up or down by changing the size of the hat; just use an even number of stitches and adjust the decreases after row 5 to match the number of stitches you have, adding or deleting rows to work down to 12 stitches. If you go smaller, still keep at least 16 stitches as the base for the legs, to maintain structural integrity, and maybe not do as many even rows at 36 stitches (rows 6-15). There are many natural variations in the turkey world, so whatever you come up with will be fabulous.
Last year’s hat was done in Red Heart Soft acrylic yarn; this year Sara used Cascade 220 wool, with Wool-Ease for the bones because she wanted a brighter white than you usually get with wool.
So get knitting!
If you have the dreaded “bad” sunburn that is so painful you just can’t stand it … “natural” help is here. Instead of the expensive lotion at the drug store, try cutting an apple in half, remove the core and rub the apple over the sunburn for three to four mintues to keep the skin from blistering or peeling.
Hey it’s worth a try!
