How to lose and influence friends …. If you don’t want people stepping on your doormat, turn it into something people don’t want to step on – such as everyone’s worst enemy, the scale. Add insult to injury by adjusting the mechanism so that it adds 20 pounds or so to their actual weight.

Fabulous vintage photo. A model floating in the water at Weeki Wachee Spring, Florida. The image by fashion photographer Toni Frissell was published in Harper’s Bazaar in December 1947. New photo for me, but it has been used evidently for book covers and album covers over the years.

Saw this over at Self Tanning Queen … Pretty Cool. Janine Rewell, a graphic artist and illustrator from Finland, created this work of art via Solarium (tan!)
Interesting : )

Styles from Lady K.  Great styles at a great price.

The Old Town Dress … perfect for out of town, in the town, on the town … this dress is as versatile as it is pretty. Swing skirt style with fitted bodice and white neck trim. Perfect for summer, winter or fall. Cotton.

Need a swmsuit?

This is a fabulous suit; the Double Cutie Retro Swimsuit. Subtle and sexy and  full coverage. The perfect swimsuit when you’re feeling modest …. but cute; on the beach, a towel, pool side or even at the bar!

Both available at Get Go Retro.com

Oh my! Ooooh, when is a tan too dark? Famous designer Donatella Versace tanning … perhaps a tanning addiction?

Where are her people? My people need to talk to her people ….

A famous failure, the Hula burger. Not everything Ray Kroc touched was golden, or arched. This burger is so easy and good you will forget the story of how the founder of McDonald’s tried to come up with a meatless meal for those who observe Lent. The Fillet-o-Fish was the winner in the market place.

One(good sized) slice of fresh pineapple
A pat of butter
Your favorite cheese
Hamburger Buns

•Melt the butter in a pan
•Saute the pineapple until Golden brown
•Place the sliced cheese of your choice on the still hot pineapple
•Put this between the toasted buns
•Share with anyone who loves a burger classic

Fabulous picture of Bridget Marquardt of Travel Channel series, “Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches”! found on the CMG Channel.
One question …. can someone tell me how she walks in the sand in those shoes????? That would be a fantastic show in itself!
